The Art of You & the Art of Me
Dear Art, who are you?
Are you the colors, splashed on canvas, with stories to tell?
Are you the melody, created by the strings of violin, filling eyes with tears?
Are you those random words, written down, hoping for it to mean the feeling inside?
Are you that magic equation that solves the realms of time?
Oh, describe the feeling of holding of a newborn,
Tell me what it searches with the fully dilated pupils,
Hope it can sees the light as well as the dark,
For a yin always needs its yang!
For the art is flickering and fleeting,
Is this what is meant to be?
Will there ever be art that can be truly eternal?
For the art one wishes to create, nature has proved to be a step ahead
May be our role is not to invent anew but simply to explore,
For the art the nature wants, we have not yet reached
The art that knocking your doorsteps,
Just have the courage to make believe!
Let your art be true to you,
I shall let mine too,
For our arts to create harmony, we must too!
The art of you and the art of me,
Creating the art for all- the one truly eternal.
