No matter what. one crafted miles.
Sometimes when people say “no matter what” they mean it. They mean it with every sound of vowels and consonants, with every vocal cord that inherits the deep experiences that says no matter what. It does not matter if she is a public-school student or a Mary’s student. She believes knowledge is not in a brand it is in people’s experiences. She is not you; she is not me. She is no any nobel prize holder, she is not a youtuber, she is not in a google so stop there to search for her.
She knew that life was never easy for her. Her life is tough and guess? she is tougher than life. Despite a name that she holds from a community as a drunkard’s kid, she never fails to make us proud and call her a topper of school. A name given by you and me was changed by herself. So limited, a frog in a well tagged himself as a king, so pathetic that he has never seen a world outside. She knew she was not a frog; she knew that she was not a lioness, she just didn’t know that she likes a computer until she touched them.
Oh, my my, how? You little yet so big girl, how do you manage to hold a book in a left hand and ladle in a right. How do you smile in every school hour when I know your father was late at home this night? How do you manage to ask me to take a little bite when you haven’t eaten anything this morning. Oh! angel how brave of you to just say No for school tour and requested your mother to let your brother go. She definitely has a heart, she cries she feels all the pain of not being able to go, but she smiles and says ani अरु वन् के के भयो?
She is a 15 years old student of mine. She is a drop out student of private school because of you know what because of. She has visited Kathmandu for the first time this year, she witnessed the competitive world. Never have I ever heard excuses from her, she gracefully accepts her reality of house and more dedicatedly sees herself by her own better to do something in life. I am finding that something for her.
I am searching for that in all child, why not me? Why not me as a child could think that way like she does? How much courage it takes to gather and spread it to all children? I don’t know how she does, I do not know how should I?
Behind this all, I know is she believed that no matter what.
